The Sunrise Report is a proof, by way of satire, of a theory that stories are both the seed and the stuff of our reality. Founded in 2025 amidst worsening and escalating global fascist conditions, The Sunrise Report is interrupting the clumsy and dangerous narratives of hopelessness and defeat with one of resolute hope and obstinate, but realistic optimism.

We are staring, defiant, at the end of the world, hastened by the hand-wringers, nervous pundits, and white supremacists, and declaring that even if it is to come, someone has to make breakfast the morning after the world ends. We intend to be there that day, and we want to break bread with you there, too.
